Terms of Service
Version 2026-05-25 · Amta Cloud (app.amtacloud.com)
1. Who we are
Amta Cloud is operated by Amta Systems, a Philippine sole proprietorship. You can reach us at amtasystems@gmail.com.
2. What the service does
Amta Cloud is a web-based accounting and operations platform for small businesses and bookkeepers. By signing up, you (the "Subscriber") get access to the modules included in your edition for as long as your subscription is active.
3. Your data is yours
Records you create or import (transactions, partners, employees, attachments) remain your property. We act as custodian. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics to improve the service.
4. Bookkeepers and their clients
If you are a bookkeeper subscriber, the data belonging to each of your clients remains the property of that client. You are responsible for your engagement agreement with them; we provide the platform.
5. Payment, renewal, and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed annually in Philippine pesos. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period unless we have materially failed to deliver the service.
6. Leaving the service
On cancellation you have 60 days to export your data using the formats we provide (typically CSV for tables and PDF for documents). After 60 days we delete your live data. Backups roll off naturally within 90 more days. Custom export formats are available as paid consulting work.
7. Records we may retain
We may keep what Philippine law requires us to keep (e.g. anti-fraud logs, our own billing records) for the legal minimum period, even after you cancel.
8. Uptime and liability
We work to keep the service available but make no specific uptime guarantee at this price tier. Our total liability to you, for any claim, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use Amta Cloud to break the law, to attack the platform, or to host data unrelated to your business operations. We may suspend accounts that do.
10. If we shut down the service
We will give you at least 90 days written notice and a final data export window before discontinuing Amta Cloud.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes (pricing, data use, new clauses) will require you to re-accept on next login. Minor wording fixes will simply be published with a new version date.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
