Privacy Policy

Amta Cloud is operated by Amta Systems and complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

1. What we collect

Account information: name, email, username, password (hashed), role.
Records you enter: partners, employees, transactions, attachments. Some of these contain personal information about third parties (your customers, your staff).
Technical data: IP address, browser type, timestamps of logins and key actions, for security and troubleshooting.

2. Why we collect it

To run the service you subscribed to.
To keep your account secure (detect suspicious access).
To comply with law (tax, audit, anti-fraud).

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. Who sees it

You and the users you invite to your account.
Our hosting provider (the VPS that runs the service), under confidentiality.
Authorities, only when legally compelled.

4. How long we keep it

While you are a subscriber, indefinitely. After you cancel, you have 60 days to export, then we delete live data; backups roll off within another 90 days. We may keep limited records longer if law requires (e.g. billing records).

5. Your rights under the DPA

You have the right to:

Be informed about how we use your personal data.
Access a copy of your personal data.
Correct inaccurate data.
Object to processing, or withdraw consent, where applicable.
Have your data deleted when the legal basis ends.
Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

6. Cookies

We use cookies to (a) keep you signed in, and (b) remember your last selected entity and date range on list screens, so you don't have to re-pick on every page. Cookie names start with amta_. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed (never in clear). The service is served over HTTPS. Access to the underlying server is restricted. We log key actions for audit.
